today announced that Readyspace, a company that provides secure hosting of servers and web servers for a variety of customers, selected eIQnetworks’ SecureVue solution to be the foundation for its new enhanced security services. eIQnetworks won a competitive evaluation based on its ability to correlate all security-relevant information from a wide variety of sources, creating a clear picture of hosted customers’ security postures that is presented through a customizable interface.
Powered by eIQnetworks’ SecureVue platform, Readyspace will offer a new security service as a part of its proactive support offering. Other market leading products that were also considered (which include ArcSight and ManagedEngine) rely on gathering information primarily through log data, SecureVue is able to collect and correlate SIEM (Log), Configuration, Asset, Performance, Availability and other security-relevant data from network devices, security devices and servers, thereby providing a far more comprehensive view into security for Readyspace’s customers.
The Readyspace service will leverage advanced correlation techniques across all relevant data types to alert customers when suspicious activity is taking place and provide customized reports to customers on a regular basis to detail or summarize those potential incidents. The service can also assist with compliance reporting, as many of Readyspace’s customers must demonstrate security controls to ensure they are “inline” with a variety of regulations, such as PCI-DSS.
