BT iNet Selects eIQnetworks to Deliver Comprehensive Security Monitoring and Reporting for Managed Network Security Services Customers
New Managed Service Offerings Leverage eIQnetworks' SecureVue Platform for Analysis of Broad Array of Security Data

today announced that BT iNet Ltd, a wholly owned subsidiary of BT Plc, has selected SecureVue® to deliver comprehensive security monitoring and reporting capabilities to its customers. By leveraging eIQnetworks' SecureVue as the foundation for its security reporting services, BT iNet will now provide its customers detailed analysis across all of its managed security offerings as a value-added service.

BT iNet selected SecureVue based on the product's ability to power reporting services across all of BT iNet's managed security offerings. Reporting services offered by BT iNet will support its managed firewall and virtual private network customers, and its Unified Threat Management (UTM) customers who can also receive intrusion prevention, content filtering, anti-spam and anti-virus reporting.
Existing and new customers of BT iNet can select a custom enhanced reporting service for any number of the BT iNet offerings they are utilizing. For example, managed firewall customers will receive an analysis of managed traffic, and anti-spam service customers can receive a report on the volume of messages blocked, among other data points. In addition, BT iNet customers can request reports to analyze use of VPN, authentication and content filtering services.
BT iNet also benefits from eIQnetwork's approach to security and compliance management. Unlike the competition, SecureVue recognizes that log data is not enough to evaluate a company's IT security posture, and the product correlates information from a variety of disparate data sources. SecureVue can correlate configuration and performance data, allowing BT iNet to plan future enhanced security services and reporting that includes this information.
